Yvonne Joyce Craig (16 May 193717 August 2015; age 78) was an actress and former ballerina from Taylorville, Illinois who is most famous for her role as Batgirl in the 1967-68 season of Batman. After this series came to an end, she appeared on Star Trek: The Original Series, playing Marta in the episode "Whom Gods Destroy".
