Template:Realworld William "Will" Guest is a Special and Visual Effects Artist who worked on the special props and miniatures on Star Trek: The Motion Picture. In addition he was one of the Enterprise crewmembers in the recreation deck scene.

Shortly after Star Trek, Guest provided special props and miniatures for the first season of the science fiction television series Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (1979-1980, along David Stipes and Dennis Michelson), followed by the science fiction horror film Scared to Death (1981), Mel Brooks comedy History of the World: Part I (1981), the drama St. Helens (1981), and the drama Neil Young: Human Highway (1982, starring and directed by Dean Stockwell).

In 1984 he served as special effects assistant on Wes Craven's horror film A Nightmare on Elm Street and in the special effects crew of the science fiction film 2010. Further credits in the special effects department include an episode of ABC Weekend Specials (1985), the comedy Flicks (1987), and the horror film Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II (1987).

Among his credits in the visual effects department are the drama The Man Who Saw Tomorrow (1981), the fantasy film The Beastmaster (1982, along Michael Minor), the mini television series The Winds of War (1983), the science fiction film Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone (1983), and the horror comedy The Creature Wasn't Nice (1983).

In 1991 he served as project manager for the Universal Studios short film Back to the Future... The Ride in which he also played an Institute scientist along Christopher Lloyd. In 2000 he worked as production coordinator and post production manager for the educational short film Quest for Life, where he also played a scientist and which was narrated by Avery Brooks.
