Will Richards (born 8 February 1954; age 70) is a ceramic artist and architect who provided wall artwork for Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Insurrection. [1] One of his pieces was used for the quarters of B'Elanna Torres on Voyager and was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [2] [3] [4] Several other pieces can be frequently seen throughout the run of The Next Generation as wall decorations in the quarters. Richards was interviewed in Star Trek: The Magazine Volume 2, Issue 11 [page number?edit], released March 2002.

Richards was born in Evanston, Illinois and received his BFA in Ceramics and Glass from the University of Minnesota in 1978 and his MFA in Ceramics from the University of Washington in 1981.

His work was in the action thriller Narrow Margin (1990) and was published in several magazines and exhibitions. Richards received several honorable mentions and awards for his work.

Today, he primarily creates and sells ceramic lamps. [5] [6](X)
