Wendy Schaal (born 2 July 1954; age 69) is an actress who played Charlene in the Star Trek: Voyager third season episode "Real Life".
She is the daughter of actor Richard Schaal.
Schaal is among several Star Trek alumni who have appeared in numerous films directed by Joe Dante. Others who are members of the informal Dante troupe include Robert Picardo, Henry Gibson, Dick Miller, William Schallert, and Kenneth Tobey. Schaal was a regular on Ricardo Montalban's Fantasy Island during the 1981-82 season.
Since 2005, Schaal has has provided the voice of Francine Smith on American Dad!, created by and starring Seth MacFarlane, along with Scott Grimes, Dee Bradley Baker, and often featuring Patrick Stewart.
