Weldon was a Human male who served as a Starfleet officer in the late-24th century.
In 2375, Weldon held the rank of ensign and was assigned to Starfleet Medical on Earth.
That year, he was contacted by Doctor Julian Bashir who was trying to obtain Constable Odo's Starfleet Medical file with the aim of curing the morphogenic virus that had infected him. As Weldon was unable to assist the doctor, he put him through to his supervisor, Lieutenant Douglas. However, when she could not provide assistance, Bashir was again referred back to Weldon, who eventually put him through to the senior officer, Commander Hilliard. (DS9: "When It Rains...")
Weldon was played by actor Colby French.
