Wall Street was a financial center on Earth until the planet abandoned currency-based economics. It was located in New York City during the 19th, 20th, and part of the 21st century. At Chimney Corner, it intersected Broadway. (TNG: "The Big Goodbye"; DS9: "In the Cards")

The pages seen in the episode were actually from the detective novel, The Listening Man, by author John A. Moroso. This novel was published in 1924. Information on Park Row was from page 179.

A major newspaper, the Wall Street Journal, was named after the street. (TNG: "The Neutral Zone")

Though its importance had long since passed out of relevance, the Ferengi who first visited Earth treated Wall Street with great reverence akin to a sacred site. The economically-obsessed species would often visit Earth to make pilgrimages there. (VOY: "11:59")
