W.C. "Cory" Carani is a comic book artist specializing in inking. He worked freelance, providing work for a variety of publishers after breaking into the industry in the early 1990s, becoming best known for his five-year run as the inker on the DC Comics series Legionnaires, where he worked with Jeffrey Moy. Like Moy, he now works at Raven Software providing concept art for their games.

He graduated from Northern Illinois University and served as a temporary illustration instructor there for a couple of years a decade after his graduation.

His two Star Trek credits are the interior inks on WildStorm Comics' "False Colors" and the interior and cover inking on the adaptation of the "Elite Force" videogame, published by the company he joined shortly after.
