Vulcan cruiser (future)

Vulcan command cruiser was a type of Vulcan starship that was commissioned sometime after 2152.

The Vulcan command cruiser shared a similar design lineage with the Template:ShipClass, but instead of a single "hoop" warp nacelle, it contained three rings arranged in a clover-shaped arrangement.

Specifications for this starship class appeared in Daniels' future database while Captain Archer and T'Pol were searching for specifications of a time travel pod that was suspected to be from the future.

Upon witnessing the starship class, T'Pol, who doubted the concept of time travel, was able to identify it as a Vulcan cruiser, but did not recognize the configuration.

Archer, who was determined to prove time travel was real, noted to her that she did not recognize it because it had not been built yet. (ENT: "Future Tense")

Background

The following label appeared close to the schematic: RetroFitted Dorsal Carrier, Design XRT-55D, Commission Date 3125. However given the chaotic nature of the display it is questionable if this text referred to the Vulcan ship or something else entirely, especially since the ship looks strikingly similarity to 22nd century Suurok-class or Template:ShipType ships, making it hard to believe 900 years lie between the two designs. Though Archer eagerly took T'Pols unfamiliarity with the vessel as evidence of its origins in the future, this might not necessarily be true, it might be an obscure subtype or prototype, a ship class taken out of commission long ago, or even a class from an alternative timeline.
