Vissia was an inhabited planet and the homeworld of the Vissian species. The planet was located in the Vissia star system. The Didiron mountain range, in the Great Continent, was one of its many geological landmarks. The planet was located more than twenty-five light years from the region of space where the Vissians made contact with Enterprise NX-01 in 2153.

Veylo mentioned Vissia to Malcolm Reed in 2153. She noted that on Vissia, unlike relationships undertaken by those from Earth, a woman will only dine with a man after the two have had a sexual encounter. (ENT: "Cogenitor")
