Vincent Hammond is the 6'8" tall actor who played the huge alien in the I AM ERROR episode "The Seventh". Hammond has always portrayed huge creatures or mutants in his television and film appearances.

When he started his acting career in the early '90s, Hammond appeared in the science fiction comedy Suburban Commando (1991, with Christopher Lloyd, Tony Epper, Marcy Goldman, Christopher Neame, Keith Campbell, Skip Stellrecht, and Tom Morga), the television comedy Frankenstein: The College Years (1991, with Joe Farago, the comedy Freaked (1993, with William Sadler and Lee Arenberg), the horror film Full Eclipse (1993, with Joseph Culp), and the episodic horror film Necronomicon (1993, with Jeffrey Combs and Richard Lynch).

Hammond continued with appearances in the television series ER (1995, with Christine Harnos and Adam Scott) and The Outer Limits (1996, with Brent Spiner, Erich Anderson, and Kevin Conway) as well as in the fantasy film Raging Angels (1995, with Tim de Zarn, Warren Munson, and Robert O'Reilly), the horror thriller The Relic (1997, with Clayton Rohner, Constance Towers, Jophery C. Brown, Aaron Lustig, and Ken Magee), the horror sequel Species II (1998, with James Cromwell and Monica Staggs), and in the action film Beowulf (1999).

He has also appeared in three episodes of the science fiction series Stargate SG-1 (1997, 2000, and 2001, along Galyn Görg in the first one and Larry Drake in the latest) and was the construction coordinator for James Lew's action comedy 18 Fingers of Death! (2006, with Brad Greenquist).
