Vijay Tsubasa Suzuki (born 11 June 1987; age 36) is an actor and model who had a featured part as a Redshirt/Mechanic in Star Trek Into Darkness. [1]

Suzuki was born in Rowland Heights, California, USA and earned an Associates Degree in Arts from the El Camino Community College and a Bachelors Degree in Arts from the UC Berkeley. He appeared in music videos such as "Young Wild and Free" by Wiz Khalifa, "Tonight Tonight" by Hot Chelle Rae, "OMG" by Far East Movement, "Boyfriend" by Big Time Rush feat. Snoop Dogg, "Only One" by Alex Band, "I Got You" by Leona Lewis, "Slow Dance" by Keri Hilson, and "4ever" by The Veronicas. He also appeared in commercials for Apple, Reebok, and Sky Atlantic and received his SAG card in late 2011.

Among the films he worked on in supporting and featured parts are the horror film Shadows, the drama The Way to Happiness (2009, with Andre Alexsen), the action film Born to Race (2011, with John Pyper-Ferguson and Matt McCoy), the comedy The Muppets (2011, with Bill Cobbs, Sarah Silverman, and Whoopi Goldberg), and the science fiction thriller In Time (2011). Also in 2011 he played Jonathan in the short drama Unity.

On television, Suzuki can be seen in the second season of VH1's Tough Love, Spike TV's Deadliest Warrior and 1000 Ways To Die narrated by Ron Perlman, and Nickelodeon's Big Time Rush.
