Veta was a Starfleet admiral in the 2370s.
Odo originally assigned her quarters similar to Admiral Colti's, but Worf insisted that Colti get better quarters since she outranked Veta. When Odo then proposed new quarters, Worf also complained that Captain Rifkin must get quarters equal to Veta's since he commanded a starship. (DS9: "Rapture")
