Veridian I was the first of the Veridian system. The planet had one moon, and was not an M-class planet. The planet had a reddish hue from space. In 2371, the position and orbital path of Veridian I was illustrated in a system map seen in stellar cartography aboard the USS Enterprise-D. (Star Trek Generations)
In an alternate timeline in 2371, Dr. Tolian Soran's plan to collapse the Veridian sun succeeded and the entire Veridian system, including Veridian I, was annihilated by the resultant shock wave.
