Velton Ray Bunch

Template:Realworld Velton Ray Bunch composed the music for thirteen episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise.

Bunch won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series (Dramatic Underscore) for the Enterprise episode "Similitude" in 2004. He was previously nominated for an Emmy Award three times; 1993 for the Quantum Leap episode "Lee Harvey Oswald, Part I", 2000 for the main title theme of the series The Pretender, and 2001 for Outstanding Music Composition for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special (Dramatic Underscore) for Papa's Angels, starring Scott Bakula.

He was interviewed regarding his work on Enterprise in Star Trek Monthly issue 92 in 2002 and in Star Trek Magazine issue 123 (article "Music of the Spheres") in 2005.

Born in Goldsboro, North Carolina, Bunch is engaged to Playboy Miss May 1990 Tina Bockrath since 2007.

Bunch's other credits as composer include the television series Magnum, P.I., Hill Street Blues, Quantum Leap (1989-1993, on which he also performed several titles), The Adventures of Brisco, County, Jr. (1993), Xena: Warrior Princess (1996-2000), JAG (1995), Mr. & Mrs. Smith (1996), The Pretender (2000), Nash Bridges (2000-2001), and Flatland (2002).

He also composed music for the television documentary On Trial (1994), the television drama Crowfoot (1995), the television drama The Bachelor's Baby (1996, starring Scott Bakula), the television comedy Unlikely Angel (1996), the drama Blue Valley Songbird (1997), the science fiction adventure Lost in Space (1998), the television drama Little Richard (2000), the mystery film Three Blind Mice (2001), the drama What Girls Learn (2001, with Scott Bakula), the television drama An Unexpected Love (2001, with Leslie Hope), the television drama Jack (2004, with Brent Spiner), the war drama Faith of My Fathers (2005), the television drama Flight 93 (2006), and the mystery thriller The Tenth Circle (2008).
