You may be looking for the Vegan system.

The Vega system was an inhabited planetary system around the star Vega. It contained Vega IX and Vega colony, which by the early 22nd century was one the first Human deep-space colonies. (ENT: "Broken Bow"; TOS: "The Cage", "Mirror, Mirror"; VOY: "Child's Play")

In 2126, Travis Mayweather (later of the Enterprise NX-01) was born aboard the ECS Horizon half way between the Vega Colony and Draylax. (ENT: "Broken Bow")

Prior to 2151, Earth ships had been operating within ninety light years of the Sol system. In that year, the Enterprise became the first ship to travel further than this distance. (ENT: "Two Days and Two Nights")

In 2152, Starfleet Admiral Maxwell Forrest speculated that a mysterious Human vessel recovered in deep space could have been launched from Vega colony, despite the fact that Vega was "a long way behind you". The vessel was later determined to be a time travel pod from the 31st century. (ENT: "Future Tense")

In 2254, the USS Enterprise planned to make use of the medical facilities at the Vega colony to take care of the crew injured on Rigel VII and replace the personnel who needed hospitalization. (TOS: "The Cage")

The location of the Vega system was seen on a Federation star chart displayed in astrometrics on the USS Voyager in 2376. The system was shown in relation to Pollux IV, Jouret IV, Rigel, and Organia. (VOY: "Child's Play")

In an alternate timeline, Vega colony in the system was wiped out by the Xindi following the destruction of Earth in 2154. (ENT: "Twilight")

This system had a parallel counterpart in the mirror universe. Prior to 2267, in the mirror universe, Captain James T. Kirk had 5,000 colonists on Vega IX executed, his second act as captain of the ISS Enterprise. (TOS: "Mirror, Mirror")

Apocrypha

In the 1977 children's storybook The Prisoner of Vega, Klingons capture Queen Vanadala of Vega III and take over her planet.

In the game Star Trek Online, the Vega system was the site of a renewed Borg attack in 2409, and where the tutorial for Federation players takes place.
