Changes: Varala

Varala is a M-class planet and homeworld of the Varalan civilization. No Federation starship had visited the planet as of 2375.

Laas, one of the Hundred Changelings sent out by the Founders, ended up on Varala and assumed humanoid form in the 22nd century. He once assumed the form of a volg and migrated with a herd to the southern continent.

When asked by Kira Nerys to describe Varala, Laas told her it was "just like any other planet that's overrun with humanoids. Cities and farms everywhere - other lifeforms displaced from their habitats". (DS9: "Chimera")
