The Vandor system is located in a remote part of the galaxy. It is a binary system, consisting of a class B red giant and a pulsar. In 2351, the Vandor system was selected by Dr. Paul Manheim as the location for his experiments into time, as the dense gravity of the pulsar was vital for his work. He based his laboratory on a planetoid in the syatem, Vandor IV. (TNG:"We'll Always Have Paris")
