The Valley of Chula was a scenic geographical region on the planet Romulus. It was a place Romulan Admiral Jarok knew well.
In 2366, Data used the limited Federation knowledge of Romulus to recreate the Valley of Chula on the holodeck of the USS Enterprise-D in an unsuccessful attempt to ease the defector's homesickness. "I no longer live here," said Jarok, and ordered Data to turn the simulation off. (TNG: "The Defector")
