"We're Starfleet officers. Weird is part of the job." - Captain Katherine Janeway, 2372

Greetings to my fellow Memory Alpha editors! I'm glad to have stepped where your feet have trod, to improve universal knowledge!

To start, to whit, a bit about me. I've been interested in time travel and history since I was young. I found, while researching my own family as part of my hobby, that I am a direct decendant of some Starfleet personnel serving on various prominent ships and bases in Starfleet such as an ensign and a Bajoran civilian on Deep Space 9 (the two weren't related at the time, their lineages join several generations down the line), a lieutenant on USS Voyager, and an ensign who served for a few months on the USS Enterprise. Possibly the most prominent of my Starfleet ancestors though (at least if bridge officer defines "prominence" was Hoshi Sato of the starship Enterprise (NX-01).

Needless to say, these combined interests led me to join Starfleet as soon as I was able to, first in the Temporal Integrity Commission and then more recently, after having achieved the rank of Lieutenant, in the Department of Temporal Investigations. Since Memory Alpha is heavily used by those involved in the temporal departments of Starfleet, I have been using it (and editing) for some time, and I hope that my somewhat unique knowledge from working in Starfleet's temporal affairs division, combined with my interests of Starfleet history, languages (probably traced back to my lineage from Hoshi Sato), and the chronicles of the various vessels and space stations that my ancestors have served on (which I'm pleased to see, are quite well represented on Memory Alpha.)

Ad Astra Per Aspera.
