The following is a list of unnamed members of the "dream species".

Leader Edit

Dream species alien 1

A member of the dream species

This dream species alien was the leader of a group of individuals who took over the USS Voyager in 2374.

He appeared in nightmares of Kathryn Janeway, Tuvok, Tom Paris, and Harry Kim with the result that Kim did not woke up from his nightmare. More and more crewmembers of the Voyager fell asleep until only The Doctor and Chakotay were awake. After Chakotay found the hiding place of the aliens and the transmitter they were using and confronted the leading alien during another communal dream, he withdrew and released the crew of the Voyager. (VOY: "Waking Moments")

This alien was played by guest star Mark Colson.
Colson filmed his scenes between Thursday 9 October 1997 and Wednesday 15 October 1997 and on Friday 17 October 1997 at Paramount Stage 8 and 9. He was again on set filming scenes for the A Unit on Monday 10 November 1997 at Paramount Stage 9 and for the 2nd Unit on Thursday 13 November 1997 at Paramount Stage 8.
His costume was later sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1]

Sleeping aliens Edit

Four dream species aliens accompanied their leader aboard the Voyager during their initiated nightmares of the Voyager crew. In this nightmares they were armed with rifles and brought all personnel aboard the Voyager into the cargo bay. One of the aliens was awakened by Commander Chakotay when he found the hiding place of the aliens on a planet. In this hiding place, dozens of these aliens were asleep. (VOY: "Waking Moments")

Four background actors appeared in this episode as "dream aliens". For the scene where dozens of them are seen, visual effects supervisor Ronald B. Moore managed to create the cavern full of sleeping aliens, compositing three actors together with CG matte paintings. (Cinefantastique, Vol. 30, No. 9/10, p. 95)
The background actors filmed their scenes on Tuesday 14 October 1997, Wednesday 15 October 1997, and Friday 17 October 1997 on Paramount Stage 8 and 9.
The costumes worn by Tafoya, Coleman, and Fitzgerald were later sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay and Fitzgerald's costume was re-used in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode "Rajiin". [2] [3] [4]
