Bela's gun moll was an Iotian who kept Bela Okmyx "company". She was one of his personal guards and had a tendency to chew gum. She carried a firearm on her at all times. (TOS: "A Piece of the Action")

Bela's gun moll was portrayed by an unknown actress, she was described in the script simply as "stunning."

Bela's hood was an Iotian gangster employed by boss Bela Okmyx. He held Spock and McCoy in gunpoint along with Kalo. Later, his clothes were "borrowed" by Kirk, when the captain disguised himself as an Iotian. (TOS: "A Piece of the Action")

He was played by an unknown actor.


Bela's warehouse gunmenEdit

These two warehouse gunmen along with Kalo guarded Kirk, McCoy, and Spock after they refused to provide weapons to Bela Okmyx. They were overpowered and Kirk, McCoy, and Spock escaped.

The first girl

This unnamed girl lived in Bela Okmyx's Northside Territory.

She complained about the "crummy street lights" on her block and noted that with the way they are "a girl ain't safe." This complaint was in despite of paying her percentages to Okmyx and feeling she was entitled to a little service for her money. (TOS: "A Piece of the Action")

This woman, played by Dyanne Thorne, was identified in the script as "Girl #1" ("young, pretty"), and in the end credits as "first girl".

Iotian bosses

The Iotian bosses were beamed to Okmyx's office to tell them that the Federation was taking over and to convince them, Kirk has the USS Enterprise fire phasers on stun on a gunfight in the street and the surrounding area to demonstrate the power of the "Feds". The bosses were convinced and agree to Federation control with Okmyx as the top boss and Krako as his lieutenant. (TOS: "A Piece of the Action")

The four unnamed bosses were played by unknown actors.

Two Iotian citizens were walking past the headquarters of Jojo Krako just before Captain James T. Kirk and Commander Spock "put the bag" on the mob boss. (TOS: "A Piece of the Action")

This Southside Iotian gangster guarded the Southside territory headquarters of Jojo Krako. He stood guard along with Karf, and was rendered unconscious by Kirk and Spock, when they broke into the building along with the help of the "tough kid". He later joined Zabo, Karf, and Krako's other hoods to "hit" on Bela's headquarters, but was eventually stunned by the phasers of the Enterprise. (TOS: "A Piece of the Action")

Krako's girl massaged Kirk while Krako tried to convince him to supply his gang with the new heaters (phasers). She hoped that her seduction attempts would help persuade Kirk to give Krako what he wanted. Kirk refused the request. (TOS: "A Piece of the Action")

Krako's girl was played by Marlys Burdette.

This female engineer worked at a radio station in the Northside Territory. She was monitoring the control panel when she became disabled by a Vulcan nerve pinch by Spock so he could use her radio to contact the USS Enterprise. (TOS: "A Piece of the Action")

This individual, described in the script as "Iotian Engineer (Girl)" or "Girl Engineer", was portrayed by an unknown actress.

The second girl

This unnamed girl lived in Bela Okmyx's Northside Territory.

She confronted Kalo along with the first girl's complaints about poor public service, complaining about the lack of laundry pickup, noting "we ain't had a truck by in three weeks." Kalo dismissed her complaint, telling her to write Okmyx a letter, to which she acknowledged that she already had and that he sent it back postage due. (TOS: "A Piece of the Action")

This woman, played by Sharyn Hillyer, was identified in the script as "Girl #2" ("angry"), and in the end credits as "second girl".


Street passersbyEdit

These Iotians were the inhabitants of Bela Okmyx's territory. They passed the way of Kirk, Spock, and McCoy. Most of them were carrying firearms. (TOS: "A Piece of the Action")

They were played by unknown performers.

Stunned gunmenEdit

These gunmen were stunned by the Enterprise phasers during a raid by Krako's men on Okmyx's territory. This demonstrated the power of the "Feds" and convinced the mobsters to agree to Federation control. (TOS: "A Piece of the Action")

One of the gunmen was played by Eddie Paskey[1], the other seven h were played by unknown actors.

Tough kidEdit

The tough kid

The tough kid was a young Iotian who helped Captain James T. Kirk and Commander Spock "put the bag" or take down mob boss Jojo Krako in 2268. He was able to distract Krako's guards by feigning an injury. (TOS: "A Piece of the Action")

The tough kid was played by Sheldon Collins. In alternate lines that appeared in the revised final draft of the script (dated 31 October 1967) during his play-fight, he makes reference to himself (or his play personae) as "Hard Rock Hurny".
In the comic "A Piece of Reaction", the kid's name is Sonny (β) and has become an admiral.

This woman was walking on the street near Jojo Krako's headquarters with a baby cart. Karf checked the cart with his machine gun, making sure it wasn't a plot to break in somehow. (TOS: "A Piece of the Action")
