Melora's brother

During her stay on board Deep Space 9 in 2370, Ensign Melora Pazlar brought aboard a photograph depicting her and her brother. Dr. Julian Bashir first assumed the man in the photograph was her husband or her boyfriend, but Melora later informed him it was her brother. (DS9: "Melora")

The pictured person was portrayed by an unknown actor.
Melora's personnel file in the non-canon video game Star Trek: Starship Creator lists his name as "Azmarin".
To produce the picture, Dan Curry took a photo of the two actors, then took a photo of Santa Susanna mountains at the west end of the San Fernando Valley, and composited the two shots using a Photoshop program. (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Companion, p.95)

Melora Pazlar's family

Melora's family gave her a cane made from the wood of a garlanic tree as a departing gift when she left the Elaysian homeworld.

None of Melora's family have been seen or named in any canon production, though her personnel file in the non-canon video game Star Trek: Starship Creator lists her mother as Tomara and her father as Zembrin.
