The USS Tycho (NCC-85103) was a Federation starship that was in service with Starfleet in the mid-24th century. In 2364, this starship was commanded by Alan Kobayashi.

In that year, prior to stardate 41775, the Tycho requested an additional fuel allotment. The request was denied by Admiral Gerald Kawaoki of Starfleet Mission Operations Unit. Kawaoki advised Kobayashi to scale back scientific operations in the Beta Epsilon system and concentrate his efforts on patrol sorties. The captain was ordered to acknowledge this message on subspace com net security mode 045, code alpha 100.

At the end of that year, Data read orders received by the Tycho and several others to investigate claims of a conspiracy among the highest members of Starfleet Command. (TNG: "Conspiracy")

The ship was never mentioned in dialog; this name came from a mission order. Along with Beta Epsilon, Tycho was conducting scientific operations in a system named Alpha [...].
The ship might be named after the astronomer Tycho Brahe or the Luna crater Tycho.
