Latest revision as of 14:42, 7 November 2023

The USS Tripoli (NCC-19386) was a 24th century Federation starship operated by Starfleet.

This cruiser responded to a signal from the Omicron Theta colony, following its destruction by the Crystalline Entity in 2338. Its landing party discovered a signal device that led them to the deactivated Soong-type android, Data. (TNG: "Datalore")

During the late 2360s the by now decommissioned Tripoli served as a holding vessel for starship components on the outer rim of the surplus depot at Qualor II, in sector 12-Delta-4. In 2368 the Tripoli received goods on a regular schedule, however, unknown to the depot quartermaster at the time, the ship was removed and its position used by a smuggler ship to steal the components. (TNG: "Unification I", okudagram)

The recovered and recommissioned Tripoli later fought in the Dominion War. In 2374, the starship reported numerous casualties to Starfleet Command. The name of the reporting ship and its registry and the casualties were named on the Personnel Status Update chart in the Deep Space 9 wardroom. (DS9: "In the Pale Moonlight", okudagram)

Its class was mentioned in StarTrek.com [2] and in the Star Trek Encyclopedia (3rd ed., p. 524).
