There have been two Federation starships known to bear the name USS Korolev.
USS Korolev (NCC-2014)
The first USS Korolev was assigned to a undisclosed diplomatic mission in 2293 during the time Operation Return was proposed. (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country)
- The Korolev was not mentioned in dialogue, but was listed on a display screen on the bridge set. While not official sources, both Last Unicorn Games and Decipher RPG supplements state that this vessel may be a Miranda class starship. The registry number suggests that is may be an Excelsior class.
USS Korolev (24th century)
The second USS Korolev was the prototype of the Korolev class of Federation starship in the 2360s.
