Registry: NCC-39272
Owner: United Federation of Planets
Operator: Starfleet
Status: Active (2364)

The USS Endeavour (NCC-39272) was a Federation starship that was in service with Starfleet in the mid-24th century. In 2364, the ship's commanding officer was Maria Mann.

In that year, on stardate 41601.3, Gregory Quinn of the Starfleet Operational Support Services sent a mission order about revised patrol assignments.

At the end of that year, Data read this order and several others to investigate claims of a conspiracy among the highest members of Starfleet Command. (TNG: "Conspiracy")

A year later, the Endeavour, under the command of Captain Cosmo Genovese, was assigned a deep space exploration mission in Sector 007. (TNG: "The Measure Of A Man")

The ship was never mentioned in dialog; the name came from a mission order. In its second mention, on a Starship Deploy Status screen that was seen in Starbase 173, the Endeavour was given the registry NCC-25330.
This ship might be the successor to the USS Endeavour (NCC-1895). Within a few years of this mission order, this ship was replaced by the USS Endeavour (NCC-71805).
The star chart seen on this mission order was seen again on the mission order for both the USS Sherlock Holmes and USS Unicorn. This chart was first seen in "Heart of Glory" aboard the Talarian freighter Batris. It was seen again in "Symbiosis" aboard the Ornaran freighter Sanction.
