The USS Elmer Fudd (NCC-85343) was a Federation starship that was in service with Starfleet in the mid-24th century. In 2364, this starship was commanded by Mary van de Ven.

In that year, prior to stardate 41775, this starship received an order from Vice Admiral Maxwell Headroom of Starfleet Mission Operations. According to this order, the Elmer Fudd was to await instructions on the proper means of transmitting information on the testing of the Mark 25 warp sensor to the Advanced Tech Division. The starship was instructed to take all steps necessary to prevent the Ferengi agents, who were operating in the same sector, from learning about the Mark 25 Warp Sensor and its capabilities. This sensor had strategic value, and the mission the Elmer Fudd was assigned was classified as most secret.

At the end of that year, Data read this order received by the Elmer Fudd and several others to investigate claims of a conspiracy among the highest members of Starfleet Command. (TNG: "Conspiracy")

The ship was never mentioned in dialog; this name came from a mission order.
The name of the starship was an in-joke reference to Looney Tunes cartoon character Elmer Fudd.
The Elmer Fudd had the same registry as the USS Mustang and the USS Puget Sound. The stardate on which this order was sent was illegible.
