The USS Crockett was a 24th century Federation starship operated by Starfleet.
In 2370, the Crockett transported Admiral Mitsuya to Deep Space 9. (DS9: "Paradise")
The Star Trek Encyclopedia (3rd ed., p. 471) described this vessel as an Excelsior-class starship, with the registry NCC-38995.
The Star Trek Encyclopedia (3rd ed., p. 91) stated the starship was "named after Davey Crockett, American frontiersman and politician."
The Star Fleet Technical Manual by Franz Joseph featured a listing of an earlier starship, the Hermes-class Crockett with the registry NCC-600. The ship was a MK-VII scout authorized for appropriation on stardate 0965.
