He was boasting, near a barrel of bloodwine in the Hall of Warriors, about a recent confrontation with a Federation starship. Captain Benjamin Sisko, disguised as Jodmos, knocked him down, apparently to get to the barrel. In reality, however, Sisko struck the Klingon because he was bragging about killing several Starfleet officers, after boarding the same ship, namely the ship's Tellarite helmsman and the ship's Benzenite captain, Laporin, who was one of Sisko's classmates at the Academy. This head guard, a Yan-Isleth, accompanied Martok as he visited the Federation prisoners in the holding cell. They hesitantly left Martok's side when he dismissed them, so to speak with the prisoners along.

Outside the holding area this guard was under strict instructions from Chancellor Gowron that the Federation prisoners were not to leave their cell. When Martok attempted to lead the prisoners out of the holding area for "further interrogation", the guard would not allow them to leave, and in response, Martok vaporized him with a disruptor.

The second guard was also dispatched in the assault, allowing the prisoners to leave the holding area. (DS9: "Apocalypse Rising")

The "Head Guard", as he was credited, was played by actor Robert Zachar. The second guard was played by the uncredited Ken Lesco.

While celebrating in the Hall of Warriors, he bumped in then headbutted O'Brien, who was in disguise as a Klingon, and had just arrived at Ty'Gokor. The Klingon laughed the incident off, then slapped O'Brien on the back before going on his.

Following the assault, Odo asked O'Brien if he was all right, to which O'Brien claimed to be fine, but joked that he wished that "they'd stop ringing that bill", while looking up towards the ceiling. (DS9: "Apocalypse Rising")

The "Hulking Warrior", as he was scripted, was played by an unknown actor.

Guards []

These guards were Yan-Isleth who served at Ty'Gokor when the Order of the Bat'leth ceremony was held there.

He had the better of Sisko for a time, before Sisko was able to turn the tables and knock the veteran to the floor with a hip throw. O'Brien congratulated Sisko on the victory, which Sisko credited to his time as captain of the Academy wrestling team.

Later he joined the towering warrior following the his discovery of the polaron emitter Odo had dropped, after being bumped into by a drunken warrior, joining in the suspicion that the device was possibly a weapon. (DS9: "Apocalypse Rising")
