Triton was the largest moon of the planet Neptune in the Sol system.
A painting of Neptune as seen from Triton was displayed on the USS Enterprise-D in the mid-2360s. It could be seen in the observation lounge, in Geordi La Forge's quarters, and Elizabeth Shelby's guest quarters. (TNG: "Encounter at Farpoint", "The Most Toys", "The Best of Both Worlds")
