Tracy Middendorf was the second actress to play Tora Ziyal. She appeared in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "For the Cause". She had a large role in the horror movie Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994, with Rob LaBelle, Matt Winston, and Fran Bennett). Middendorf played also "first ones" in successful TV series Angel and Six Feet Under: in the first one, she played the very first "damsel in distress" the good vampire tried to help and protect in the first episode "City of..."; in the second one, she played the first widow that Fisher brothers had to comfort, in the second episode "The Will".
