Tony Young (28 June 193726 February 2002; age 64) was an actor who played Kryton in the Star Trek: The Original Series third season episode "Elaan of Troyius". He filmed his scenes on Tuesday 4 June 1968, Wednesday 5 June 1968, and Friday 7 June 1968 at Desilu Stage 9.

He was married to fellow Original Series guest actress Madlyn Rhue from 1962 through 1970 and had one child. Young and Rhue co-starred with each other (and George Murdock) in the Western He Rides Tall (1964), and, after their divorce, would co-star in the 1974 made-for-television movie The Sex Symbol (with Nehemiah Persoff).

Outside of Star Trek, he also made guest appearances on such television series as The Virginian, Mannix, and Mission: Impossible, as well as Fantasy Island, in which he appeared with his wife's "Space Seed" co-star, Ricardo Montalban. He also appeared in the television drama The Lives of Jenny Dolan (1975, with James Darren, Percy Rodriguez, and Paul Carr).

Among his feature film credits are the Western Taggart (1964), the Western Charro! (1969, co-starring Garry Walberg and James B. Sikking), the crime thriller Black Gunn (1972, with William Campbell, Kate Woodville, Julian Christopher, and Bernie Casey), the crime thriller The Outfit (1973, with Joanna Cassidy, Elisha Cook, and Roy Jenson), and the crime drama Act of Vengeance (1974, with Stanley Adams).

Young retired from acting following a guest appearance on Quantum Leap, which starred Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell. He died of lung cancer in Hollywood, California, on the same day as Lawrence Tierney.
