Template:Realworld Tony L. Torino is an editor, producer, and production supervisor who worked as VFX Motion Control Director for The Post Group on the first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
After working for S&A Productions between 1978 and 1983 as production manager and location manager on ABC daytime soap operas and movies of the week, Torino joined The Post Group in 1983 where he worked as video tape operator and assistant editor on projects such as The Twilight Zone, Airwolf, and Battle of the Network Stars. As motion control director VFX he produced and designed production elements for Airwolf, Max Headroom, The Twilight Zone, Pee Wees Playhouse, Fox TV, and The 1987 Academy Awards.
Torino left The Post Group in 1988 and worked in the following years for Unitel Video, Post 2810, and Laguna Productions, Encore Productions, Jonny Vegas Productions, 808 Productions, and Media Underground. Since 2006, he has been working as freelance producer, editor, camer aoperator, and director. He also worked as sound and audio mixer for reality shows such as American Restoration (2011) and for several specials in the Las Vegas area.
