Professor Tolen Ren
Professor Tolen Ren was among the top engineering physicists, and the all around inventor of Banean warship technology and weapons research. Professor Ren was also responsible for developing four generations of navigational arrays for Banean ships.
In 2371, Professor Ren offered to help the crew of Voyager replace its damaged collimator. Ren was able to help, however, the Voyager's visit was used as an opportune moment by Numiri operatives to steal his weapons research by murdering Ren and framing Tom Paris for the crime.
