DaiMon Tog was the commander of the Ferengi Marauder Krayton in 2366. Tog was present at the Trade Agreements Conference located at Betazed that year, where he became infatuated with Betazoid Ambassador Lwaxana Troi.

Following numerous rejections by the ambassador towards his advances, Tog kidnapped Lwaxana, as well as Starfleet officers Deanna Troi and William T. Riker. Tog's intentions were to persuade Lwaxana to join a partnership so as to exploit her telepathic abilities in trade negotiations. In the process, Lwaxana referred to him as a troll. (TNG: "Ménage à Troi")

While trapped in a turbolift aboard Deep Space 9 in 2369, Lwaxana told Odo about her experience aboard a Ferengi cargo ship. Initially she described the experience as "dreadful", but clarified it was actually "mildly lamentable," all because of Tog, which she described as a "loathsome DaiMon," which she later clarified as being "slightly repulsive" but that he did have "a certain charm, in an insufferable sort of way." She went on to explain to Odo that Tog was "totally at the mercy of his uncontrollable passion" for her, which also incorporated "some negligible commercial interest involved," all of which she found to be "quite touching, in a way." She mentioned the part where she "made love with him." (DS9: "The Forsaken")

Tog was played by actor Frank Corsentino.
Tog was also the name of the Ferengi character played by Al Franken in the Saturday Night Live skit Love Boat: The Next Generation, a parody of both The Love Boat and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
