Time loop, or temporal loop, is a term that may refer to various phenomena connected with time travel:

  • A predestination paradox, a phenomenon in which an event of time travel could become part of events which had already occurred
  • A temporal causality loop, a phenomenon whereby a specific moment in time repeats itself continually inside an independent fragment of time
  • Manheim Effect, a temporal distortion that led to a specific moment of time which repeated itself
  • Kerr loop, a temporal phenomenon which could be created through the interactions of high-energy discharges with superstring material
  • Moebius, a hypothetical twist in the fabric of space, wherein time becomes a loop from which there is no escape
