Chakotay saw a vision of him during a vision quest; in the vision he was ordered by Tuvok to take aim at Kid Chaos's midsection. (VOY: "The Fight")
Later, Thompson guarded the quarters where the USS Equinox crew was confined. When Captain Ransom freed his crew, Thompson was shot down by him. (VOY: "Equinox")
