The Star Dispatch

The Star Dispatch was a New York City newspaper that was in circulation in the 1930s. It was published daily.

While reviewing an altered timeline on his tricorder in 1930, Spock happened across the article taken from a February 1936 issue of The Star Dispatch. In it, he found Edith Keeler on the front-page, along with an article that featured her meeting with President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The same issue also featured reports of the mayor and the City Council debating the budget and the city planning board and zoning commission decreasing the lot size in Rincon terrace. (TOS: "The City on the Edge of Forever")

The Star Dispatch is a "generic" fictional newspaper that was seen carrying headlines in numerous movies from the 1940s and 1950s, including such classics as Astro-Zombies and All the King's Men.
