Tezra was a Tellarite freighter owned and operated by Tellarite Captain Skalaar and his brother and first officer Gaavrin, operating under the authority of the Tellarite Mining Consortium in the 22nd century. Tezra was the first ship of her class, and the fastest ever built, as Skalaar retrofitted her engines himself. Tezra was able to haul one million metric tons of cargo at a maximum speed of Warp 4.5, something even the most powerful Earth vessels could not match.

Tezra was seized by the Klingon Empire after Skalaar crossed into Klingon territory while hauling fire salt, believing he could shave a few days off his run by cutting across an insignificant sector. The ship and its cargo were confiscated, something Gaavrin never forgave his brother for.

Believing Tezra impounded, Skalaar turned to bounty hunting in order to pay the impound fee. It was not until his last mission, in 2153, that it was revealed by the still bitter Gaavrin that Tezra had been cannibalized by the Klingons several years earlier, ending Skalaar's dream of redeeming himself. (ENT: "Bounty")

The Tezra was never depicted on screen.
