The Tenth Fleet was one of several Federation Alliance Fleets involved in the Dominion War.
In late 2374, the Tenth Fleet was assigned to protect Betazed and its colonies. However, while the fleet was on a training exercise, the Dominion caught the fleet off guard and overtook the system's remaining defense systems and the planet fell. (DS9: "In the Pale Moonlight")
