Tau Ceti IV was the inhabited fourth planet in the Tau Ceti system. This planet was located approximately over eight light years from Earth. According to the Kobayashi Maru scenario, in 2285, the city of Amber was the homeport of the 3rd class neutronic fuel carrier Kobayashi Maru, and her master Kojiro Vance.
