Tau's species were a species of green- or bright-skinned, ridge-headed humanoids from the Delta Quadrant.
Four members of this species, led by Tau, were encountered by the crew of the USS Voyager in 2374, stealing several of the ship's components. (VOY: "Concerning Flight")
