Tarquin's species are a humanoid spacefaring race from an unnamed planet in the Delphic Expanse. They have multiple antennae sprouting from their heads, and yellowish-brown skin. They are extremely long-lived; one member of their species claimed to be over 400 years old. About one in every fifty million people of this race are born with telepathic abilities. Telepaths are seen as a threat to the rest of the population, and are therefore exiled off-world. (ENT: "Exile")
- It is never explicitly said that their homeworld is located in the Delphic Expanse, though its location given as 30 light years from Tarquin's planet makes this most likely. Apart from Tarquin, another member of his species was seen captured by Orion slave traders at their procesing station on Verex III in ENT: "Borderland", while another member is seen as a slave worker at the mines encountered in ENT: "The Xindi".
