Taresia was the inhabited third planet in the Taresian system, in the Delta Quadrant. It was the homeworld of the Taresians and the rikka flowers.
A network of satellites was capable of projecting a high density polaron grid around the planet. (VOY: "Favorite Son")

According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 2, p. 372), Taresia was a Class M planet.
