Tania McComas is a makeup artist who worked on several episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation. On the fifth season episode "Cost of Living", McComas worked on Brian Bonsall's make up. This work earned her an Emmy Award in 1992 in the category Outstanding Individual Achievement in Makeup for a Series, shared with Michael Westmore, Gerald Quist, Ron Walters, Jane Haymore, Bob Scribner, Ken Diaz, Karen Westerfield, and Richard Snell.
In 2000 she received a BAFTA Film Award nomination in the category Best Make Up/Hair for her work on the drama American Beauty which she shared with Carol A. O'Connell. McComas worked as hair stylist for Jamie Lee Curtis (1996 House Arrest), Kevin Spacey (2001 K-PAX, 2001 The Shipping News, 2002 Austin Powers in Goldmember, 2003 The Life of David Gale, 2005 Edison, 2006 Superman Returns, and 2011 Inseparable), Tia Carrere (1996 High School High), and Katherine Heigl (2010 Life As We Know It).
