Yellow Dwarf mentioned?Edit
when has a yellow dwarf been mentioned on Star Trek? ? -- Captain M.K.B. 18:23, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
- Voyager:"Hemakek" and "Mosaic" mentioned yellow dwarf systems. I'm not sure if they said "yellow dwarf" directly, but those systems were yellow dwarfs-- User:Capt.Belisarius 14:21, 7 June 2006 (EST)
Ok. So once we add links to whatever canon episodes these refer to ("Hemakek" isn't an episode, and "Mosaic" is a book, which shouldn't be included as a citation, because it isnt an episode), then we can remove the "cite" message from the page. -- Captain M.K.B. 18:35, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
- My mistake. "Hemakek" was the system, not the episode. The episode was "Investigations". It was rich in vertirium cortinyme. It was also mentioned in "Lifesigns". -- User:Capt.Belisarius 18:41, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
I believe that its spelled "Hemikek IV" and "Hemikek system". Which episode did they mention that it was a yellow dwarf? It would be cited if we could make a link to that episode. -- Captain M.K.B. 18:49, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, found it. "There's a yellow dwarf system called Hemikek with an M-class planet quite rich in minerals". Neelix said it on the bridge in the episode "Investigations" when they were looking for verterium cortenide to rebuild the warp coils. http://www.chakoteya.net/Voyager/215.htm . -- User:Capt.Belisarius 18:54, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
Awesome. you can make the word "Investigations" a link by putting double brackets around it, and then it will be considered cited properly. -- Captain M.K.B. 18:55, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
Done. -- User:Capt.Belisarius 18:57, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
in which episode, "Raven" or "Dark Frontier" was it mentioned that seven's parents, the hansens, were crashing in yellow dwarf system? -- Captain M.K.B. 18:56, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
That would be "Raven". Seven went down to a planet in a yellow dwarf system. I don't remember the planet name, but she said something about the Borg "waiting" for her there. -- User:Capt.Belisarius 18:59, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
- From "G-type star": Main sequence G-type stars were called yellow dwarfs. So are there non-main sequence stars then?
