Unnamed food and drinkEdit
A question of curiosity for you all. As you know, we have many pages in regards to Unnamed starships and the countless unnamed individuals pages. Throughout all the Star Trek series, we see a great number of drinks and food that are not named. Why not continue the 'unnamed' trend by going onto food and drink? There may be some other topics we could do too, but I can't think of any others at this present time. - Enzo Aquarius 17:51, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
- I don't see why not. -- StAkAr Karnak 14:15, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
- I have started the Unnamed food and drink page, plus there's a link up for Unnamed tools and technology, however that will have to most likely expand into sub-pages. Any others? - Enzo Aquarius 21:13, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
This page is simply a list of six more specific lists, half of which are redlinks, and the other three pages have a combined eight entries. This is total organizational overkill. As numerous other unnamed stuff pages will demonstrate, there is no obligation to split up by century unless there are practical reasons for doing so. So, I would like to suggest that the three subpages are just folded back into this page. -- Capricorn (talk) 07:49, January 16, 2016 (UTC)
- I am against a merge at this point. Several times the "unnamed list articles" became too long and have to be split. Right now the pages are short or even unwritten what does not mean there is a lot more to be added. Tom (talk) 12:54, January 26, 2016 (UTC)
- I've placed pna-incomplete tags on the articles as there is definitly more to be added. Tom (talk) 13:01, January 26, 2016 (UTC)
They're generally only split of once needed, because that's the only time it makes practical sense to scatter similar information over several pages. We could literally be stuck with this non-optimal solution for years to come until it starts making sense. -- Capricorn (talk) 23:03, January 26, 2016 (UTC) (unless I'm to take your note as a sign that after this page getting on your radar you're planning to keep an eye out for more references and thinking you'll find a lot relatively fast. Given how fantastic you are at expanding unnamed stuff lists I can kind of understand you not wanting to merge just to split again in half a year or so) -- Capricorn (talk) 23:08, January 26, 2016 (UTC)
