Is there something missing here? I've never seen the episode in question, but from the looks of it, this could easily be merged with the species page. Weyoun 08:09, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)

It would be inapproproate to list an individual with the species. That would be like merging Jean-Luc Picard with Human. Other than that, there are only about a three dozen other pages like this on site, otherwise formerly known under various "Unnamed" people pages. Baneans for one. -- Alan del Beccio 08:19, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)

That's an unfair comparison and you know it. But I guess for continuity's sake we should keep this page separate, rather than merge it into a "People" section, even if it borders on pointlessness IMHO. Weyoun 08:33, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)

It may be exaggerated, but it is hardly unfair. That old man is an unnamed individual (just like picard is an individual), therefore listing him on his species page would make just as much sense as listing picard on the Human page. -- Alan del Beccio 08:55, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)
Just like racism against Vulcans is an individual topic, separate from the other types of racism because it exists in the producers' writing not in the Star Trek universe itself. It's not that the characters are racist; the writers are. Roar 08:58, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)
