Spelling

Deletion rationale

According to the subtitles of the Star Trek (DVD) this ship's name is USS Wolcott instead of Walcott. – Tom 12:27, November 13, 2009 (UTC)

Discussion
  • Redirect to Wolcott. If someone misheard it in the first place it's a valid and apparently easy misspelling. --Golden Monkey 13:10, November 13, 2009 (UTC)
  • Delete - We don't redirect different spellings unless it comes from a script or other valid source. — Morder (talk) 13:32, November 13, 2009 (UTC)
    • Morder, this comes from the subtitles on the DVD. That means it is reasonable for people to come here and search expecting that spelling, making it a useful redirect. --OuroborosCobra talk 17:11, November 13, 2009 (UTC)
  • Should be merged to Wolcott. This should really have been done as a move to that page in the first place. -- Michael Warren | Talk 15:44, November 13, 2009 (UTC)
  • Merge there is info contained that is otherwise valid, safe for the spelling--Sennim 15:50, November 13, 2009 (UTC)
  • Merge. - Archduk3:talk 18:40, November 13, 2009 (UTC)
Admin resolution
  • Since this should have been moved from the get-go, I've treated this as a proper merge and merged the information from the two articles to create one mega-master article. -- sulfur 18:51, November 13, 2009 (UTC)
