PNA-inaccurate
According to the background info: "The only canonical mentions of the vessels specifics are derived from background information such as the Starship Mission Status chart seen in TNG Season 4." Based on the information presented in the Mission Status chart, I see no reference to this Grissom, which begs the question: outside of the Star Trek Encyclopedia, is there any on-screen sources for either this ship's class or registry? --Alan del Beccio 02:52, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
um yeah 1250 seems a LOT for an excelsior class ship. Hell a Galaxy class which has probably double the space of an excelsior only carried a crew of about 1000. I think somewhere around 500-700 is more realistic.
